Welcome and thank you for your interest in my work. I love what I do - create, build, play and get lost in my art work.
I hope that this site will provide you with a comprehensive look into my imagination and art perception.
I conduct workshops, sell and exhibit my work throughout the US and internationally. With a continuous specialty in rib construction and sculptural basketry, my range of work has developed over the years to also include jewelry, metals, mixed materials and sculpture. I teach my techniques and designs at Art and fiber conferences, bead societies and guilds , basket guilds, state and international conferences.
I have been fortunate to travel and teach to wonderful places including, New Zealand, Australia, Ireland, Singapore and many of the beautiful states here in the US.
I have had my projects and work published in publications, including, Beadwork, Bead and Button, Art Jewelry, Shuttle Spindle, Quilting Arts, and several others. I have written three books through Lark/Sterling publishers; Heat color set and fire, Mixed Metal Jewelry Workshop: Combining Sheet, Clay, Mesh, Wire & More, Wrap, Stitch, Fold & Rivet, and Fabulous Woven Jewelry.
I own a gallery in Wabash Indiana, called Gallery 64. It is an Events center, offering catering on site or at your venue. We also offer a bar and can accomadate off site alcohol events. This creative space also offers a variety of classes including, jewelry, creative arts, cooking and more. The space can also be rented for events, where you can bring in your own food and just use our space. We also offer meals to the public on special nights, which often includes local and regional musicians to entertain while you enjoy your meal. Check out the website for the gallery: www.gallerysixtyfour.com
