We'll see if I get to this page......
IF I get to here and actually write thoughts/blog then it will be about traveling, projects I am working on and goings on in my life....Like I said,
We'll see....
We'll see....
This is the first time, in a VERY long time, I have sat down to work on my website..... I look forward to this New Year and with the changing of the calendar brings hope of new adventures and a fresh start.
2015 was a whirlwind..... ups and downs, brilliant memories and some sharp turns. I am officially worn out at the end of 2015. That is why I am here...... knee propped up (after a little repair) and assessing the new calendar for 2016. It will be a busy one. Gallery 64 has taken yet another direction - towards food again.... Cooking classes are still VERY popular, and since my offering of catering through the gallery....Food rules! Doing food has been both challenging and satisfying. I wish I could clone myself! I could totally do catering full time, yet my Art work pulls hard on me.......and I miss my Art. Second best option is to offer up the challenge and opportunity to my son Logan. He is slowly learning the bar, the food and parts of the catering. He has an interest, but time will tell if he has a passion for this type of business. I do feel it takes passion, it is long hours, hard work and many days..... little pay. Time will tell. So....... looking into 2016..... I am positive it will be yet another whirlwind year... more adventures and memories to be made.... Australia calls me back in 2016 and I am looking forward to visiting that side of the planet, where many friends and fun times await. I have many great teaching venues in 2016 and a solo show at Vanderbilt University.... so life is VERY good. Find Peace and love in your world and try to spread it where ever you go..... We have a fabulous planet that holds amazing, beautiful people........ let's all try in 2016 to love each other more, cherish this fragile earth and embrace our future with passion and kindness. Happy New Year to all!
